Sultans of Swing Still Cool

From time to time someone asks me what it means to be cool.

My answer is always the same.

While Miles Davis invented cool, there was never a cooler moment than the time Mark Knopfler did Sultans of Swing, with Clapton as wingman.

A coolness that survives the test of time:



Super chilled intensity---ending in a brief controlled hymn to all that is cool.

And wow, is that guy ever sexy—its almost enough to do some reorienting.
